Any Advice??

Postby slowkidz » Wed Jul 09, 2003 1:23 pm

I'm currently in 4th, but still close enough to pull out on top in this league. Do you have any suggestions on how I can make this team better than what it is? I know an increase in pitching would be nice, as 3 of my SPs all have hi era/whip. I was thinking of trying to trade for another SP with lower stats. Any trade suggestions or WW ideas? Thanks! ;-D

I'm a bitter met fan, so take this with a grain of salt, but i would try to trade Alomar. The expectation is that he's going to return to his alleged hall of fame form now that he's in chicago and reunited with his brother. maybe, maybe not. this could be the highest his trade value is all year. You could try to upgrade at short or third. You could use another power hitter. Waiver wire suggestion: Hasegawa. He'll be getting saves until sasaki is back, and he should bring down your era and whip.
Bear in mind, I've been trying to get a life...

ya know...i thought about that...but i already traded over wagner to him for ichiro...i dunno if i can top that one....hehehe

hasegawa is already off of waivers. i went for him, but he wasn't there. i did find donnelly tho...he's more of a setup man but his era and whip are both like .050 or something like that, plus his strikes are over 50. so i like my chances with him. good advice j-a-g, thanks!

any other ideas?
