This would only interest people in VERY deep league or deep NL only leagues but Dusty Baker hinted on the morning XM baseball show that Pagan would indeed make the opening day roster.

I'll probably butcher the quotes but it was something to the effect of the following:

All I can tell you is that if he doesn't make the team there's going to be a lot of people upset.

He's a speedy switch-hitter originally from the Mets organization. A bit old for a young speedster getting his first whiff of the bigs (24 right now) and plays for a manager with a major mancrush on veterans but on the other hand if injuries really bit the Cubs and Pagan is on the roster he could end up seeing some playing time and being a cheap source of sb's.
