This is my first season. I'm doing fairly well in a roto 5x5 league with friends, so I thought I'd give head to head a try. I signed up for two midseason public leagues on yahoo, and I added another roto team. (yes i have too much time on my hands) The roto team is doing fine, but both h2h teams are stuck in the basement. What am I doing wrong?

Both teams are in dire need of improvement. What should I do?

team 1:trade jorge for some pitching

team 2: trade palmeiro for some pitchin

If you are a Met fan I feel your pain.

Team 1 I would trade Posada and a closer for some pitching or outfield and 3B help. I would drop all of those Mets.


Team 2 is a problem. Your infield is weak. I would see if a combo of Palmeiro and an OF for some infield help or pitching. And again drop those Mets.

i've been offered a deal, posada for lidle and kendall. it's not bad, but i think i can do better. any thoughts?

i also don't know if my strategy is right. i've tried to gather enough position players that i have someone to use at every position every day. i haven't worried as much about having a pitcher to start every day. should i change my starting lineup depending on the team i'm facing for the week?
