This is pretty much my best guess. Anyone have anything different?

I'm guessing Bigbie goes on the DL and Gall replaces him but I
haven't read it anywhere

duncan is being considered for the part time LF job while bigbie recuperates. skip schumaker has actually hit well this spring. he might also get an opportunity. he is mostly known for his defense...sort of a left handed batting taguchi

spiezio had a job locked up but he has slumped and that is now in jeopardy. unfortunatly for us (but fortunately for him) there really arent any other candidates. daubach apparently couldnt field 3b well enough because he was outhitting speez. luna's defense has been kind of shaky and he hasnt hit a lick either. i wouldnt be surprised if miles was the backup middle infielder/occasional 2b starter while luna was the backup corner/mid infielder/occasional left fielder. i dont see cruz making the team. its :-P either way.

Certainly not as intimidating as the teams they put out the last two years, huh?

Cruz is cut.

Gall and Duncan sent back to AAA. Am I wrong or are the Cards out of options on Gall? If so I have to think somone will give him a shot.

they have two option years remaining on gall, although he might be a six year minor league free agent sometime soon. i am not sure how that works. if gall were desirable he probably would have been traded by now.

i concur. i hope someone in the system like chris lambert has a good year and we can trade him for a solid outfielder who wouldnt be a rent a player.

How much playing time do you guys see Skip Schumaker getting?

I am in a deep NL-only roto league so even a guy who gets 300 AB is viable to me. I am desperate at OF so I am mining for a diamond in the rough. ;-)

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I would think there are better options. He won't get much playing time. Everything I read/hear says 250 ABs tops.

Thanks. I wish but the league uses so many OF that my options are pretty awful. !+)
