what's up with beltran's lack of power?

Postby sinicalypse » Tue Jul 08, 2003 10:09 pm

in the last month, carlos beltran is batting .300ish, 17 RBI, 11 steals.. but 0 HR.

is anything up with him, or is he focusing on being a good line drive hitter?

He has never been a HR hitter, if he starts hitting the roids he will have more power, but I'm sure he would start to steal less. He is only 26, so he will probably be the HR you want him to be in 2 or 3 years.
