This may not be an appropiate topic for the forum, but I'm in the market for a slow pitch softball bat and wanted to see if you guys had any recommendations before I drop a couple hundred on one. I imagine quite a few people here, like me, have taken up softball after baseball dreams didn't quite pan out, and would know a thing or two about the subject.

More specifically, does anyone have opinions on the new Demarini F2's or the Mizuno Techfires?

The Demarini F2's sound cool to me (but sorry, dont know a thing about softball bats) ;-D

Haha thanks Madison, I didn't even know the general forum existed. I guess I could have done a little more site surfing before I posted that. Oh, and thanks to Arlo too for the info you sent regarding bats.

I'm actually going to pick up a Miken Ultra 2 in a day or 2. It's around $300 but I'm sick of turning my head to watch the ball fly out. I recommend it highly.
