12 Team Keeper Draft... How'd I do? WHIR

Postby pelotero » Sun Mar 26, 2006 1:02 pm

Here it is.. I inherited a team from a friend, but didn't keep any players, hence I had the second pick in round 1 (Big Papi) and the third pick in rouund 2 (J. Bay).. Head to Head 5x5..

C- J. Willingham
1B- P. Fielder
2B- Soriano
3B- A-Ram
SS- Peralta
OF- Bay
OF- Hermida
OF- Maggs
DH- Big Papi

SP- Duke, Capuano, El Duque, E. Santana
RP- Lidge

Bench (Hitters)

Polanco, Willy-Mo, Mcpherson, Delmon Young, W. Betemit (flyer), Frank Thomas.

Bench (Pitchers)

Foulke, Odalis Perez, LIRIANO, R. Madson.

My only concern is a Back up SS.. and Maybe an other Stud Pitcher.

Thanks,,, WHIR..

SP is definitely a concern. Liriano should be good next year and maybe the second half of next year. Delmon Young is going to be a stud and your team is still pretty young.

Take a look at my team

Nice line up w/ lots of power, & young players too. Your pitching is weak, but I wouldn't go depleting your hitters to get an ace.

Grab Dontrelle off the WW...what is he doing on there anyway? That would be a huge boost to your weak SP staff. I'm not a fan of Magglio in the OF, so keep an eye out for decent OF options on the waiver wire throughout the season.

For an inherited team, not too shabby.
