Why don't you like your team? For a 13 team league it looks really good to me. Willingham could be a breakout star -- he'll have the chance to put up big numbers and stay in the lineup for a young team. Konerko is good. Weeks is another breakout possibility. Ramirez is solid. Crosby is another some pick for a breakout. MCab is a monster. Dunn will give you HR, RBI, and R. Holliday is a later pick that could put up big numbers. There's lots to like here (and probably picked up at good draft spots). Pitching you have Oswalt and Lidge, both top 5 at their position. Guys like Turnbow, Kazmir, Young, and Cabrera add some depth.

Weaknesses: well, you probably know you're seriously lacking in SBs. You have Gathright, but who knows how much he'll play. Atkins and J Encarnacion aren't that great, but its a 13 team league. On the pitching side, I'm not sure how much value R Soriano and Cotts will have for you. Those 2 and Wang are your weakest Ps. But, considering the number of teams, I think your staff looks good.

If you'd look at any trading to improve (like in SBs), I'd deal a 3B -- you have 3 guys who qualify. You could try to get good value for Ramirez (he's a top 5 3B) moving MCab to 3B. You'd still have good power. Just don't accept inferior players just to get SBs. Ramirez is worth way more than just a Pods, or similar 1-dimensional guys. Anyway, it looks like you did a great job with your draft.

I never got a shot after the Oswalt pick to draft another quality starter at the top. I had to wait until like Rd 12 with the Kazmir pick so I really don't know how this pitching will pan out.

I was hoping I could've drafted the quality starter so I could load up on middle relievers instead of taking so many starters so I have at least some value. I also missed out on the stud pitchers last year at the draft so I had Beckett and used the same strategy. I struggled all year in pitching but who knows. Maybe this year I might've drafted the right mix to work off of.

As far as stolen bases, I was hoping to occasionally get Gathright in there to add to my sb total. Maybe if he gets off to a good start, I can package him and get more of a 30/30 type of guy in some kind of deal.
