Does anyone have any ideas on possible saves in Montreal? Is Stewart the incumbent?
Also, in Florida - Who will get the first shot if Looper fails - Nunez or Spooneybarger?
Will Mantei regain his role in Arizona?
The majority of the closers in my league (NL only 5X5) will be kept, I'm looking to speculate to find some saves. I like Vizcaino in Milwaukee. Any other thoughts?

Good call on Williamson in Cinci..I picked him up for $2 at the end of last year. He was the closer once before and appears over his injuries.
I like Mantei in Arizona long term. He is proven but injury prone and Kim is chomping at the bits to get in the rotation.
I like Stewart in Montreal.
In Florida who knows..Spooneyberger may be the best long term solution because Looper has never been able to hold it.

After Looper i think Spooney will get the job.
I read that stewart will start off as closer.
If Mantei can stay healthy he'll be good for 30 saves
Mike Dejean is the closer again...
I cant think of any more sleepers.. Good luck
Buerhle...Colon...Koch... Championship please?

Dejean is Milwaukee's closer, but I don't think they would hesitate too much to replace him with Luis Vizcaino if necessary.
As mentioned, Spooneybarger could take the closer's job if Looper can't hold it.
Most of the NL jobs right now seem to be pretty secure though. Alfonseca is always on the brink, but who would be the closer there if he did lose it?

Probably Remlinger or Farnsworth

Cubs: Remlinger is too valuable as a lefty, so Veres who has closing experience is the #1 guy who would replace the 6-fingered wonder, Alfonseca.
Expos: Scott Stewart's #'s are VERY solid for a guy who gets no pub. He has some chips removed from his elboy back in October, but that should actually benefit more than hinder his abilty. He is a good bet to be the closer for the season.
Padres: Trevor Hoffman has not even begun to throw a baseball yet and he may not be back until June or later. Jay Witasik is the likely first choice to close, followed by Brandon Villafuerte.
Giants: Keep an eye on Robb Nen this Spring as he is also coming off of surgery and may not be ready to handle 100% of the closing duties.
Marlins: It is Looper's job to lose, but Spooney has serious closer stuff.
I usuallly try to find $1 MR guys like Remlinger, Felix Rodriguez and Octavio Dotel who could get you 10 "vulture" saves if you are lucky.
