rate my minor league draft

I dont know much about prospects but did i make a good decision in choosing these prospects? How far away are they from the big leagues and what are your thoughts on them? BTW this is a 10 team auction keeper.

1.6 Howie Kendrick, 2B LAA
2.5 Carlos Quentin, OF ARI
3.2 Andy LaRoche 3B - LAD
3.6 Anibal Sanchez SP - FLA

Kendrick is a potenial future batting champ. He is blue chip prospect. Probably about a year away.

Quentin is a good very outfield prospect and another blue chip prospect, third best prospect in the D-backs system (was first until stephen drew signed and they drafted Upton) and should be a very good player. He could see a lot of playing time as soon as this year.


LaRoche is a great glove-man at third. He has recently developed some power and could be a thirty homer threat. He is at least a year away and is currently blocked by Bill Mueller.

Sanchez is fireballing righty. A year or two away. He should devolp into at least or number two or three starter.


EDIT: I should add that you did a nice job, grabbing all solid prospects.

nice set of minors there. Kendrick and Quentin both could be in the majors this year. Kendrick is basically just waiting for a Adam Kennedy injury from making his debut. Quentin will probably make some kind of impact this year for the Dbacks. The other 2 are probably a year away, but both are solid minor leaguers to have.
