My god, what happened to this guy? He was a stud for two months! I'm giving him one more start before I dump him for a bench hitter.

Somehow, his ERA went up even more after he went on the bench - apparently Yahoo forgot to add in an earned run or something from the previous inning!

Unless Lohse is concealing an injury, this implosion is unprecedened. I don't know how a guy can go from dominating to piece of crap this quick. Thank God I have left him on my bench his last two starts. I think I'm going to give him one more start, too, before I cut him loose.

Last year he stunk it up before the break and then dominated after. He dominated early this year and is now slumping. I think he still has a hot stretch in there somewhere in the 2nd half this year. Might only be a 2 or 3 game stretch, but it will be there.
