Whats up with Baker?

Is he going to get a chance? I see him with huge potential and he has some amazing control for a young guy.

Only 24 years old so i could see him working in AAA but I hope not

he will be #5 SP... it's his job to lose...
Keep an eye on Liriano though... might take over during season..

Unless Baker bombs, they won't switch him and Liriano. Lohse would be the odd man out.

agreed

I like what they are doing with liriano...I expect him to be starting before the year is over and I think he will be a somewhat valuable middle guy until then.

Lohse is a sleeper for me. He has always had great potential and I truely believe he will have a 18-20 win season. He has had stretches of brilliance and last season he had a very respectable 4.18 era. I don't know if he is going to do it this year but I will be watching him as he is having a great spring.
