if this is how he hits hurt, i cant wait till he's healthy

Well, we know this is how he hits fresh after a cortisone injection.

The way he hits after several months into the season with a still injured shoulder is what made me nervous.

Remember also - Richard Hidalgo hit like a madman for Texas in his first few weeks of the season. Then......

(Of course, remember this is justification coming from someone who just dropped him. :-b )
"One of the teams represents truth, justice, the American way, and underdogs everywhere. The other represents George Steinbrenner!" - U.S. News and World Reports columnist John Leo on the difference between the Mets and the Yankees.

So for those of you who are sticking with him for now, are you going to use him this week??

Well, even going with Leiter Fan's worse case scenario -- if you've held on to him, use him while the cortisone is fresh and before the pain builds back up too badly. :-b

Exactly, then you sell high on him and get decent value. Although, usually when I do this the player ends up continuing his great year and the sure thing player I received in return gets hurt for the first time in his career.

batted lead off last night. Didn't produce, but as long as he bats leadoff he has value. Keep an eye on him, if he struggles no doubt he will be moved down in the order.
