Tigers manager Jim Leyland announced Friday morning that both of the fireballing rookie right-handers have made the Opening Day club: Verlander as the fifth starter and Zumaya as an important reliever.

I'm glad for Verlander. I went to ODU too, and ODU just isin't a school that produces a lot of good players. Needless to say I hope Verlander has a breakout year.
