The three guys have been playing very well for the past month:
Mark Loretta
Alex Cintron
Brian Roberts

They're all available in my league. Thoughts on whether any of these guys could be better than Marcus Giles or Luis Castillo in a points league? I doubt it, but I don't know much about them either.

Are you thinking about replacing Giles or Castillo with one of these guys? Whatever you do, don't do it. Marcus Giles is an All-Star and Castillo is, well, he's just Castillo. If you can add Cintron for somebody else, then do so....

Giles is a bum who played over his head for a month. Go after Roberts!!

Don't replace Giles or Castillo with any of these three guys. Both Cintron and Roberts are good as an infield backup though.

Marcus Giles does not merit his all-star status over Vidro. I'd rather have Castillo then Giles any day. Giles is overrated, Castillo is underrated.

In 5X5 leagues, I'd give Castillo the nod, but in a points league, I think Giles takes it. Home runs and doubles become way more important than average in a points league and considering Castillo isn't running so much, I'd say Giles is better for points leagues, as long as he breaks out of his slump, that is!

I would have to pass on that
With a bit of luck, his life was ruined forever. Always thinking that just behind some narrow door in all of his favorite bars, men in red woolen shirts are getting incredible kicks from things he'll never know.
