12 team keeper. compete or sell? WHIR

took over a keeper team, my keepers were: helton, dunn, pedro, buehrle, hoffman. here's what i got. think i can compete this year, or should i trade off the older guys (hoffman, helton, pedro) and try to get young guys to work with later?

I'm a baseball fan and pretty new to fantasy baseball....but could you give a list of your top 5 or even first 10 rounds of drafting?

I'm having a tough time putting this one together. Then I'd have a better guess.

I think you should try selling the older players. Your team is not terrible but not the best. I dont think you can compete this year.

I would sell them off and rebuild the team the way you like it. You won't compete this year, plan for down the road.

any players you'd suggest going for? im probly gonna try getting peavy for pedro, and making a run at aram and a top closer. ill hold onto sizemore and harden, but everyone else i feel can be used in a trade.

Youd be a playoff team, but I think that it would be better to trade for guys YOU like.

i plugged the league into the projection site here:

to see what it said about my chances this season. projection set A had my team tied with antoher team for 3rd, a fair distance behind the 1 and 2 teams but safely in front of the rest of the league. projection set B had me in the 3rd spot, way ahead of the other teams and just barely behind the 2nd place team and a little ways behind the 1st place team.

so apparently i have a very good chance to finish in the top 3 this season. everything still think i should sell and try to become stronger for the future while giving up my chances of finishing in the top this season, or shall i stick it out for awhile, try to compete and maybe sell a few months in if i fall behind?
