I know I have a stacked team, but some of the others are too, as this is a deep keeper league, about 4 of us have all the talent, so how do I improve my team?
C - Vmart
1B - Pujols
2B - Utley
3B - Mcab
SS - Tejada
IF - Reyes
LF - Manny
CF - Pods
RF - Drew
OF - Griffey
Util - Holliday
Util - Ensberg
B - Tracy (until drew/griffey get hurt)
Sp - Zambrano, King Felix, Prior, Shmidt, Haren, Mulder, Cabrera
Rp - Streets, Turnbrow, Dempster, Gordon, Orvella

I don't know man. That team looks pretty sick... well balanced .... I'd say it doesn't get better than that

Should I be worried about my SP with prior hurt? I think shmidt will bounce back nice, so I have 3 ace potential hurlers besides prior, so maybe not. what do you guys think?

your team is pretty sick

other than Drew, the rest are all established and/or heading to have a good season

orvella i might question though since tampa will go closer by committee...as for prior...i would keep him for now and see how things go out for him

very good team indeed ;-D

rate mine

You want help? Man, I don't know what you could want help with? That is a pretty solid team. Any move that you could make would be to pick up some unknown that' s on waivers and know something about him that nobody else in your league does.

It's a keeper league so you may want to consider picking up Delmond Young OF for D-Rays or Zimmerman 3B for Nats.....they are good prospects.... I don't think you need anything for the present... I would only make a move that is a trade for youth or pick up a young FA.

Take a look at my team if you can...

What do u guys think of dropping orvella for reitsma, then tracking the situation and grabbing devine when he gets the job. I think I will do that. Also, we haven't set a time limit on the keepers, so I am pretty much set for as long as we do this with cabrera and pujols anchoring the lineup (trying to get a-rod right now, guy really wants tejada, I am trying to give him tejada plus someone for A-rod, were all red sox fans so no love for the yankees)

I might try and trade away podsednik, since he is a waste other than sbs, and especially if you pick up a-rod you will have enough sbs. I think the tejada move is a good move, assuming you don't have to add too much. i would keep orvella, because if he is the closers his k's, and other stats will be much higher than reitsma, who's in an equally questionable situation Imo.

first off, you have a very good, deep team. But, I have a few possible moves for you. I am very high on Chad Tracy. I think he is gonna have a great year and great future. Also, I am very skepitcal about dempster. I am a Cubs fan and watch alot of their games, and he doesnt have that closer "edge". He never overpowers guys and shuts the door. Its scary. Anyway, that being said, I think you shoudl try and package Dempster and Griffey/Ensberg for a upgrade at closer. Dont know if it would work. Just my thoughts.

I like the idea, the thing is dempster has SP eligibility, which allow me to have more closers than the competition. He had solid stats as a closer last year, but I understand the though and will try out a few offers
