Do I need to improve my pitching staff? leave a link

h2h 10 team 5x5... Should I look to improve my starting pitching? I think it's a little bit questionable- unit is old and injury prone, patterson and lowry are somewhat unproven, davis is solid but unspectacular, and the rest are basically pitchers ive taken fliers on. Do I need to get another stud pitcher by maybe trading a reliever or should I just stick with the staff I have now.

Ur offense is great but i nvr was a fan of sexson and kent is getting old but is still productive. I like ur strategy of dominating steals and saves. Hunter isnt as good as he used to b u should find smone better on the waivers

That staff could dominate, but more likely be middle of the road, to above average. You need a lot of guys to continue to build on what they did last year, and some to forget completely that they played last year. But, the bottum line is that in March a good staff can turn out to be crap and vice-versa.

Your pitching is fine, the only worry I'd have if I was you would be the offense's bench. If all your starters stay healthy, that's not going to matter.

I'd agree with your bench/utility spot needing help. Hunter and Morneau could struggle again this year, not much telling me that they won't.

I like you're pitching, nice mix of chances that could pan out (i.e. Perez) and solid guys that you know what you're getting (i.e. Loiaza and Johnson). IF you really felt you wanted to strengthen through a trade I might offer one of your closers along with Hunter or Morneau and get a starter and a less known closer (maybe a Chris Ray type).

great offence but i am not sure about your pitching

trade away randy for 1 solid pitcher in the garland calibre AND a solid bat (that can give you 20HR)

oliver perez is risky but he is good in K
your pitching certainly needs tune up and consistency

what about trade away griffey for another pitcher?
griffey might be injury prone you know

anyways..no problem with your hitting that's for sure
