This is a 12 teamer, going standard 5x5 Roto -

3B-A.Ramirez
SS-R.Furcal
CI-A.Huff
MI-C.Utley
OF-K.Griffey
OF-J.Gomes
OF-M.Ordonez
OF-R.Baldelli
UT-G.Anderson
UT-N.Swisher
UT-J.Jones
Ben-T.Clark
Ben-J.Randa

SP-J.Schmidt

RP-Borowski
RP-Orvella
P-B.Radke

I got a steal with Soriano in the 3rd (26th pick overall), at least I think. I need more RP, is this a contender?

Yes- that is definitley a contender. You've got a good core of offensive players and an amazing pitching staff. The only weak spot is your rp's... but you can usualy find good ones on the waiver wire to keep you in contention in that category

yea, this is def. a solid team, your a little offense heavy, see if you can trade Mags for a somewhat reliable closer.

A contender? ;-D But I would not call Soriano a steal. With all this "I dont want to play LF" crap, I dont want any part of him. Of course, getting traded could be the Best thing for the sake of his Fantasy Stats. I would try and Trade Soriano and Pair him with Wakefield or Loiaza and get a Quality RP in return. You have the Best 2B, Chase Utley. So trading Soriano shouldnt hurt. But then, you would have to trade someone like Kenny Rogers away for another MI. Or pick one up.

PS- A word of Advice. I hear Chad Orvella isnt performing well in Spring Training. I hear Baez is the favorite for the Closer job. Keep him, because he could still win it. But if you can get a 20-25 Save guy for him, Id take it.

Thanks guys, but I am a little confused with your post Champ... If I were to package Soriano with Wakefield I would expect Rivera and a very quality bat. Even if he plays in the OF, he would still put up number comparable or better then say Bay, or Abreu... without the BA.

And, Baez is with the Dodgers. Not entirely sure how he would take over his old clubs closer role.

Thanks, any other thoughts?

good hitting and good team ;-D

little concern with your pitching though because i believe tampa is now going with closer by committee
therefore orvella could be hurt a bit in value
then radke...i don't think he is good at all...

otherwise, solid team

rate my team please

Good balance of power and speed with your offense. Your starting pitching is solid but obviously you need some closers. Trade some offense for one.

Yes, that would be good for your team. I doubt u could get the Quality Bat with Rivera, but id say you could get him. NO! Dont trade Utley!
