I still say pick up Beckett over Vargas.

Even though Beckett got bombed tonight, I'm still holding onto him in every league in which I own him, even though there are guys like Vargas available on the WW. It's only his second start back, and he threw 6 shutout innings last time out. The guy is a K monster, while Vargas is lucky to K 3-4 guys a night.

Grab him, sit him for a start or two so he can fully shake the rust, then unleash him. He is also more of a proven commodity on a pretty hot team.
