Fausto Carmona or Nick Adenhart?

Postby madstork43 » Thu Mar 23, 2006 1:05 pm

What are your thoughts on these two pitching prospects.

Cleveland's Carmona is young and has good stuff...
When will be up in the bigs, what is his potential, etc...

Adenhart was highly toughted out of high school and then had tommy john. He has looked solid in his limited innings for the Angels since the beginning of the year.

Who would you take in a deep prospect keeper league?
Who is better for the future, ceiling, potential, etc.

Thanks in advance

Nick Adenhart, has top of the rotation type stuff. In a BA article where they were going over the prospects in each organization they stated that Adenhart has the potential and likely hood of being better then Jered Weaver. From all reports I've read on Carmona and I have been contemplating adding him to my dynasty roster (I have Adenhart) he is more likely a bottom of the rotation 3-5 pitcher. I like him but, as far as your question Adenhart. He is healthy now all he has to work on is his command.
