Edmonds hurt elbow...?

I live in STL. Heard on the radio this morning that Edmonds is hampered with an elbow injury... Edmonds himself apparently said that it has bothered him since before sprin training started, and that it feels like tennis elbow.

I haven't found anything solid to tell me any more about it, but there is reference to it in the fan forum/message boards section of the stl cardinals website...

Played today, 2 hits and an RBI, but this news has me concerned. Damnit Jim.

An MRI exam on Jim Edmonds' right elbow revealed some inflammation. He was cleared to keep playing.

"They did say it was inflamed around the nerve, and that's what I'm getting, is some numbness," Edmonds said. "I can't feel my forearm. That's all. It's just inflamed around the nerve and the muscle. It's really tolerable, and it's getting better, it's just not as good as what I hoped to have." Unless he has some sort of a setback, Edmonds will remain in the lineup.
