Do you like your job?

Just wondering how many of you actually like your job.

If you do like it how many jobs did you have to quit before you found it?

I left a job for more money and it is not what I hoped it would be.

i had 2 previous, but relevant, jobs that i treated as place-holders while i sought the type of job i have now.

I like my job, though it can get boring if I don't have projects to manage and I have look to do adhoc jobs for others. I wish I had never left my AOL job though. But that was like 3 jobs ago.

It's decent. I broadcast and web stream ASU classes to people who aren't at ASU, so I get to play with a lot of fun technical equipment.

The reason I've kept it for so long- as an ASU staff member I get to take classes for $39 each.

I also get tons of Internet time while a class is in session, which is nice... explains why I have so many posts I guess. Going on 5 years now.

it's OK, i'm an engineer so it can get frusturating at times, but i dont find myself wanting to quit.

i'm also going through a slow work period right now, so it's kind of boring

Just wondering what type of engineer?

I'm in my 3rd year of a civil engineering major right now.

I like my job very much. I like the work and the people. I'm not loving the hours at the moment, but we're understaffed and it's busy season, a bad combination. But I'm quite happy where I'm at.

I went through a few jobs just to make money, nothing more, before stumbling on something I enjoyed. Did that for 7 years and now I'm in something totally different. Been here for 6 months and it gets a little frustrating, because I don't usually know what the hell is going on, but the people are great and I know I'll get the hang of it. Plus, the expense account and company car ain't bad either...
