What Brooklyn Dodger became the youngest batting champion in MLB history after winning the crown in 1941 at .343?

I think Al Kaline of the Tigers was younger than Reiser when he won the batting in either 55 or 56. You might check

goody1313 is right about Kaline, but Reiser is still the right answer. After all, he did become the youngest batting champ ever in 1941... he was just passed later. :-)
