Lima Time

So is now the time for everyone to forget past history and take a fling on a 4-0 washed up has-been, who just happens to pitch into the 7th every game? :-?

I just dropped Vinny Castilla and picked him up....His walk rate is a little high but he is a veteran and not a rookie ....so this doesn't really bother me. I guess it also depends on how past of history we are talking about...3 years ago he was a lower tier fantasy stud. It's a flyer but Kansas City may be good for him...who knows.

Lima's walks were elevated last game due to the umpires strike zone not being much larger than a postage stamp. Other then that, i have seen him pitch at the stadium twice this year and he has looked really good both times. :-D

Don't get all excited guys. The only reason I picked up Lima was he had a two start week against Cleveland and Detroit. His previous game before the two start was against Cleveland too I think. I'm ready for him to fall down to earth after this week. But I'll hold on to him and hope his starts against woeful teams builds his confidence up that he might actually pitch well against the better offensive teams.

Yanno....this is a pretty talented/highly motivated guy. He fits in well with Tony Pena's "I Believe" philosphy. Tell you what....he ain't putting up many K's, but.....I BELIEVE...... ;-D
