The computer ignored saves!

So, I couldn't make the draft. I did my prerankings, and this is the team I ended up with. No closers! Gah! The league is 6x6 (regular 5x5 with OPS and Holds) and is not a keeper. It's a 16 team mixed league. I'm just wondering how you all think I did? (obviously I need to find a closer at some point)

Hitters

C B. McCann
1B M. Teixeira
2B C. Counsell
3B R. Zimmerman
SS R. Aurilia
CI R. Sexson
MI O. Hudson
LF P. Feliz
CF J. Damon
RF I. Suzuki
OF A. Rowand
Util L. Overbay
BN P. Nevin

Pitching
SP R. Halladay
SP J. Smoltz
RP S. Shields
RP D. Hermanson
RP D. Wheeler
RP F. Cabrera
P B. Zito
P N. Lowry

I like McCann, other than Teixeira and Sexton, you're infield is very weak. You need to package some SP for a RP and hopefully a power hitter.

Yeah, your bats should probably be a bigger concern then a closer. It's 6X6, saves are even less important now. You could try to trade Shields for a closer, because you have quite a few holds already. You are dominant in holds, which people completely undervalue compared to saves in a 6X6, and they're equal in value.

In 6x6, the dominant setup men are almost more valuable, I'm thinking, since they typically pick up more wins than the closers. Am I right about this?

Trade Hermanson now. His back is still bothering him and he may retire. You can probably find someone in your league who'll still be high on him. As others have mentioned, you need more power. Definately more important to you than a closer. Closers will appear on the waiver wire throughout the year, grab them as they become available.
