Until then I'm going to have to wait.

According to KFFL"
Mar 21 Jason Beck, of Tigers.MLB.com, reports Detroit Tigers OF Curtis Granderson is Manager Jim Leyland's front runner for the starting position in center field. Granderson has been excellent so far in spring training, hitting .371 with 4 home runs, 6 RBIs, and 5 stolen bases. "If the season opened tomorrow," Leyland said, "Curtis Granderson would be my center fielder."

Leyland has basicly said the job is his to lose. Unless Granderson gets shot while in the wrong part of Detroit, he's the CF and lead-off man.
while i'd like to see a line of .300/25/25/80 for my Tigers, i think something like .280/18/20/60 is more realistic. still not a bad late round grab, but in my 10 team 5x5 he went in the 15th at 141 overall
I like him. I think he'll hit in the .280 range, score 90ish Rs, 15-20 HRs, 10-15 SBs, and knock in 60 RBIs. Once he started getting regular PT in Sept last yr he really started to mature. Since then his plate discipline has continued to improve and he's a lock to start in CF for DET - Nook Logan has a very real chance of getting cut or traded at this point. Expectations for '06 should remain low however, since he is still just 25 and this will be his first full yr in the majors.
In keeper leagues, he makes a very strong cheap target. The negative steriotype of Detroit hitters will keep his value low.
Looks like all the Tiger fans (like me) have been reading the same papers. I think we are all within a few points of each other on projections.
Given the choice between Gathright and Granderson -- if Gathright start's he's a lock for 40-50 steals. I can' get that anywhere else, esp. not after 10th round. I can cobble 15/15/70 off the WW.
The Tigers will open the season with a lineup of CF Curtis Granderson, 2B Placido Polanco, C Ivan Rodriguez, RF Magglio Ordonez, DH Dmitri Young, LF Craig Monroe, SS Carlos Guillen, 1B Chris Shelton and 3B Brandon Inge, manager Jim Leyland announced today.
