This kid seems to be flying way way way under the radar.

He did pretty well last year in limited action with

8 hr's and 20 Rbi's in only 162 AB's He only had 1 SB but now he has 5 in ST without getting thrown out.

This ST he also has 4 hr's

I'm projecting

.290 Avg 24 hr's 25 sb's 80 rbi's

Not a bad line for a backup of'er in my opinion

I took him in the 17th round of a 13 team league.

Any insite on this kid

Saw him play in about 5 games last year (I'm in DET). Impressive. He has hit at every level and expectations are high. I think what you are describing in terms of possible production would send the Tigers GM (and me as a Tigers fan) into fits of glee. They are the high end of the spectrum.

Most predictions I see have been .275-.300, 15-20 HRs (Comerica is a HUGE park) 15-20SBs. He's very solid contrbutor on all fronts, outstanding in none. A well-balanced player.

But I hope you are right -- I like the optimism.

I got him late in a draft as well. I think your predictions for steals are about right, but HR's might be a bit high.

I've got him down for: .280, 18 HR's, 25 SB's, 65 RBI, 85 Runs

It all depends on where he hits in the lineup and if he plays the entire year.

I'm going to assume he will hit leadoff, which is the assumption I used to project those numbers. That's why I have only 65 RBI as opposed to the 85 runs.

Ive grabbed him in every league this year. If he goes 20/20, I'll be happy and my expectation will be met.

I really like him, can't see why he's slipping so far in drafts. 20/20+ potential is there, 15/15 seems a lock. He has a good chance to hit leadoff and is aggressive on the bases. I just took him 16.3.

Yes you do .. a couple people had him going 20/20 and 25/25 ..

So once he comes off the board in your auction, you'll post what you "actually" project him out to?

Something closer to .275, 18 HR's, 15 SB's???
