Rate my team - 5x5 10 owner league

Postby tcarp27 » Wed Mar 22, 2006 12:26 pm

Please rate my team. I'm in a 5x5 10 owner league, and we're all experienced managers. I had the 2nd overall pick(pujols).

Solid offense across the board. Your SP are good, and your Rp will get saves. I really like tis team, except Devine should be dropped, maybe for a 3rd closer. Doesnt Reitsma have the ATL closer jobbed locked up?

I like your team, it should be strong with only 10 teams. DO NOT drop Devine. He will be the closer soon, possibly by the end of spring training. He hasnt allowed a run in 8 innings, while striking out 15. KEEP HIM.

NO, Devine is a better pitcher, but Reitsma is the closer for now. If I had a choice between the two though, I would definitely take Reitsma for the time being. The only problem I see with your team is this, why did you draft BOTH Pedro and Prior? You don't have nearly enough pitching depth. WAY too many bench hitters. YOu need to manipulate your pitching categories throughout the week. Also, your only source of steals is Bay and Pujols outside of Taveras. BUT, will you ever start Taveras over Floyd? You need to drop a few of your bats for more depth in your pitching staff.
