I feel like Tom Hanks in Cast Away - LOOK!!! LOOK WHAT I HAVE CREATED!!!!

I started that thread because I was shocked at the details in the allegations in the book - I only casually watched the whole Bonds saga over the past few years and I was more inclined to disbelieve the allegations than give them credance.

Little did I know that there were so many die-hard Barry B fans at the Cafe, and little did I know that there were so many different opinions on the issue.

It was a real learning experience for me. ;-)

I shall never start or participate in another thread about Bonds' alleged use of steroids. It almost cost me the love and affection I feel for several members of the Cafe. Barry is NOT worth that. :-o

No way this thread got this big without artificial enhancements. I suggest the Mods put forth an in-depth investigation into the matter. Until then I think the number of posts in this thread needs an asterisk by it.

For more information I believe Pedro Gomez has been following this thread on a daily basis for ESPN.

Definitely the longest Bonds thread in Cafe' history. Can't believe it got this far without being locked. 8-o

Maybe we're getting a bit lax and need to invest in some more locks. :-b
