Time to give Shawn Green the boot?

Postby TrueBeliever » Mon Jul 07, 2003 9:16 am

Still waiting for that hot streak...

waiting...
waiting...
waiting...

OK, it's not coming. With fellas like Jose Guillen, J.D. Drew, and Milton Bradley burning holes on my free agent list, is time to let Shawn go?

Or maybe, should I have just let him go awhile ago?

I would keep him. He should have a solid to great second half. If you trade him now, his value is worthless.

I am keeping him, but he is riding the bench. May if LA trades for a bat or two it will kick Green in to gear.
I will not rest until I have you holding a coke, wearing your own shoe, playing a Sega game featuring you, while singing your own song in a new commercial starring you, broadcast during a super bowl game you are winning. Show me the $$$!!!

unless he all of a sudden shortens his swing and uses a 3-ounce lighter bat, DROP HIM!

I said it in the VERY beginning that he was worth NOTHING.. you can even look at my april posts saying he wouldn't even hit 30 HR and that I'd easily take Wells over him.

but nobody listens to the #'s guy...

Seems to me like he's normally figured it out by now. I'm been avoiding him and will continue to do so.
