The league is a 14 team league (live draft), standard 5X5 roto with Hits added for batters and Holds added for pitchers.

My analysis of my team/draft:
Pitching - Looking at the roster right away you'll see I don't have any closers because everybody was drafting closers with there 1st couple of picks so I'm punting SAVES. There is no way Turnbow deserves to be drafted in the 4th round. Holds were a hot category as well starting to go in the 10th round (Farnsworth) even though you can pick up guys during the season who get moved into HOLD situations.

I actually like my SP since I have 3 guys that could all notch 200K's (Carpenter, Lackey, Lowry). I really wanted to take Escobar but I took Blanton in Round 16 (pick 10) hoping to get Kelvim in 17 but he the very next pick after I took Blanton.

Hitting - I thought my draft went downhill when I took Crosby at 8 and was disappointed with the outcome until I saw my team actually put on paper (by position). I decided not to take a catcher (even though we start 2 of them) until very late once again because even mediocre catchers were going way to early IMO (round 8-10) so I took Hernandez (17) and Barajas (19)

I'm absolutely stacked at the 1B position (Dunn, Konerko, Utley). I'm debating on picking up Murton on the FA list and dropping Durham since I don't really need him with Utley, Ellis and Crosby.

What do you think about my team and my assessment of it?

You could definately use a closer or two. Saves are big to have. Maybe trade Chen plus someone else for one. Other than that...very nice.

Yep..very good team. Very strong everywhere except saves and you can trade or pick someone up there. Nice draft.

I would drop up Durham for Murton. Is F. Liriano on the WW? How about B. Hall?

Nah Burgos, Liriano and Hall were all drafted. The managers in the league are all very baseball savvy so all the "sleepers" were drafted (Willingham, Jacobs, McCaan, Kinsler,etc)

I check the thread for all the latest on closers. I don't know if they are members or not

Was Weathers drafted in your league? He may be a good pickup to help your saves.

If not, I'd trade one of the first basemen and get a Top 5 closer and maybe a little something else in return.
