I know there are a lot of people who have spoken about the Williams DS this week, to start him or not, cool discussion a little further down on this site if you want to get in on it. My question is this though, is Weaver a safer bet? It's Weaver v. CLE (Sabathia) and Tor (Halladay or Davis, seems to be discrepancy); In either case I think he's outclassed as a pitcher and in TOR's case, I think they can hit anybody.
The Williams scenario (frequently visited) is: STL (Haren, I think); and ARZ (Patterson).
Which one would you start?

Haren has already seen San Francisco once - in his first start - and he did pretty well. I'd look for a better outing from him, and Arizona is hot.
I'd start Weaver to be honest. His last outing was strong.

I don't think I'd touch Weaver right now with a ten foot pole until he proves he has it back together. His last start was 3 runs in 7 innings, which is decent but hardly great, especially against a terrible Mets offense. Also, even though he does have the two starts, his first start is against Sabathia, who is on fire lately and is a tough opponent plus the Jake is a very friendly hitter's park. His second start is against a lethal Jays offense and he is facing Halladay. There is the very real chance that he could get rocked in both starts, and wind up with no wins on the week.
