New to FBB I am in a 5x5 12 team Yahoo roto scoring league and have made what i think are some good moves. Please enlighten me.

I gave up Palonco for Figgins
I gave up ARam for Utley and Thome (Have Ensberg as backup)
Picked up Escobar, D. Cabrera, E. Encarnacion, Granderson, Hermidia & Gathright as free agents. I think I have speed and runs covered well with decent power and rbi numbers and decent average. I used auto draft and was new so didn't rank players. Thus my pitchers.

Am i wrong or were my 2 trades totally in my favor

I hate to see Utley at 1b when he is eligible at 2nd, but I also hate to see Figgins used at 3rd.

I agree that your trades were well in your favor, and were good trades.

I would look to move Ensberg for another SP, then move Figgins to 3rd, Utley to 2nd, and move Thome into the 1b slot.

you don't like Utley at first because of a lack of power?

Because of position scarcity.

Utley at 2nd is 1st tier talent.

At first base, he is 2nd tier.

So Utley gives you more for your money at 2nd than at 1st.

those trades definitely are good...work in your favour

but i don't see much power other than Thome (IF he stays healthy) and Ensberg (sort of has power potential since he in hitter ballpark)


i would try to get a #1 starting pitcher though...since you don't seem to have one

and believe me you will see the difference of dominance
