Been in 4th for a while...any suggestions?

14 team Yahoo! points league.

Seems that to date, position players get about 3 times the points a pitcher does, for obvious reasons. So I am thinking of dumping some top pitchers for some serious bats. I have Prior and Loaiza. Most guys in my league still think pitching matters a lot, I am trying to load up on bats and watch myself finally climb out of 4th spot. I am only about 100 points out.

I got rid of Randy Johnson for Mike Lowell. Think that points wise I will get a lot more out of Lowell.

Who should I go for? Pujols? Helton? Delgado? Nomar?

Any help or thoughts would be great.

I would try and see what you can get for Loaiza. Maybe a 1B , 2B or SS. Trading Prior away would really make your pitching staff a lot less potent IMO. (Even though Loaiza has been about as good this year, but I wouldn't want to have him as my "ace" for the second half...I could be wrong though) Also, I might take a flier on a free agent catcher if I were you. Maybe a Victor Martinez??? Either way, I would try and trade Loaiza for a bat. Good Luck.
