Alex Gonzalez(fla) or Marcus Giles?

Alex has cooled off, and Marcus was just dropped. I am looking for a backup MI. I have Jeter at SS, and am using Lil Cat at 2B. Picking us Giles will give me some flexibility with Cat (1B, 2B, OF).

Last two weeks, I have found Alex just riding the pine.

Any thoughts on this?

go with Giles ... Alex will return to his normal boring self real soon. Hell he is on the way already, just his stats still show that uncharacteristic very hot start. IMO

Alex has a bit more power, but Marcus is in a better lineup. Both of them don't have a track record, so I'd say it is a toss up. Also, Marcus gives a better position flexibility. I'll take Giles over A. Gon(fla) as a backup.

I guess i'm the cafes lone Gonzo supporter. When a kid struggles, and never does anything, people write them off. Hes still only 26, plenty of time to take his game up a level.
