Keep an eye on things here. Politte may be the guy if Ozzie does make a change as Hermanson's back is a wreck right now.

dont hold ur breath with any closer decision in CHi-Town.... Guillen has one of the quickest trigger fingers in baseball, he has Hermanson (who isnt healthy) and he may even convery one of his younger SP into a closer if Jenks struggles, I personally think Jenks has been being picked way too early and ahead of other solid proven closers this season, I hope for jenks sake that he gets his act together or he could be a "flash in the pan"

Jenks crushed tonight............1 IP, 4 hits, 4 er's,YIKES.....Not what you want out of an inexperienced White Sox closer. should I grab Politte in a head to head points league just in case? I'm thin at closer already....

Politte isn't the answer as the closer when he was with the Jays he wasn't much better then Jenks last year.

Cotts is next in line in Ozzie's brain today. Tomorrow is anyone's guess.

Source Rotowire:
On Wednesday, manager Ozzie Guillen said that Cotts would be his first option at closer if Bobby Jenks' spring struggles continued into the regular season, the Chicago Daily Herald reports.

Per Rotoworld

Manager Ozzie Guillen said Wednesday that if Bobby Jenks struggles, he won't be afraid to use Neal Cotts at closer.

Guillen showed last year that he's very flexible in the late innings. This give Cotts a little more fantasy value, especially since Jenks is somewhat risky.

Quote from an MLB article on Jenks:

What option does Guillen have if Jenks' spring struggles play out during the regular season, especially with doubt still surrounding the condition of Dustin Hermanson's back? Left-hander Neal Cotts looks to be Guillen's choice, with Cotts even throwing the final inning Wednesday. Cotts, 26, held left-handed hitters to a .206 average in 2005, but also held righties to a miniscule .155 average.
