You could simply just look at the popularity between the sports and the races. How many white versus black kids play the four major sports, then theorize why.

Wow. How did I forget Howard?

Last year me and my girlfriend sat at a Phillies game against the Marlins, and Identified only two non-white athletes, Abreu and Rollins (pre-howard, and lofton's day off) We identified 7 of the nine field players as being non- Americans for the Marlins.
