Your staff is really solid. Trevor Hoffman has seem to come to you at a high price, though. Your hitting lineup, on the other hand, is very weak. I like the price on Utley, though. Whose available in the auction? You got only $167 to spend, and you need some help with your hitting.

C - Lopez, IRod, Posada, Barajas, Johjima, Molina, Kendall, McCann, LoDuca, Lieberthal, etc.

1B - Helton, Delgado, Thome, Wilkerson, Huff, Overbay, Shelton, Hillenbrand, etc.

2B - Unnecessary to list

3B - ARod, Chavez, Rolen, Jones, Glaus, Hillenbrand, Batista, Lowell, Inge, etc.

SS - Tejada, Jeter, Furcal, Renteria, Guillen, Cabrera, Eckstein, etc.

OF - Vlad (Want him), Ramirez, AJones, Sheffield, Bonds, Suzuki, CLee, Damon, Gomes, Wilkerson, Green, Huff, Drew, etc.

SP - Going to go bargain basement most definitely.

RP - Probably not needed but if cheap, may pickup 3rd closer.

Those are basically what's out there that I can actually target to spend money on. There are tons others, but going into the auction I want to target some money somewhere. I really want Vladdy and CLee, but I will have to pay a pretty penny.

yeah, i feel like you're overpaying for hoffman.
and guys in that list that i would target in an auction: rolen, helton, shelton, wilkerson, renteria will all be guys that you should be able to land at less that what they're really worth.
and loduca will make a great second catcher...good average and great lineup

Trust me. I'm not. Closers go for ridiculous amounts in my league. Rivera once went for $43 or so. Hoffman easily would have touched $30 because of his consistency.

Thanks for the response. I had Renteria last year and I was thinking about giving him another go. I also like Helton. Didn't think about Lo Duca but I like what you are saying.
