Eric Duncan?

Overrated...

I think he's alot of hype from the NY media... Just like Melky Cabrera was...I think he may be the 7th or so 3rd Base prospect

Guys like... Stewart, Marte, Gordon, LaRoche, Wood (Since he will most likely move to 3rd Base) are just some of the guys Id rate above Duncan.

I don't like him much. he seems like a hacker with mild (20 HR) power for the majors as well as a mediocre average. Just one more solid yet nothing special type of future ML player to me.

It's really hard to tell what to think of Duncan, a lot of it has to do with the Yanks themselves. They have rushed him at every step in the minors when he is a prospect that needed time to develope. So really while looking at his numbers they should be taken with a grain of salt, he is a better prospect then that. To try and project anything for him now is difficult due to his age & being rushed. I'd say a line of .260-.270 avg. w/ 20-30 HR power, would be around the best case scenario for him at the moment.
