Wish we had done this before we got rid of marte, I like him the best of the three, and clevland was willing to take him instead. But that aside, we had too many starters, we traded one away and got a young powerfull guy who should platoon with trot nicely, and could start on his own after this season, he is only 24

Also there is still the fact that Manny could be traded and I think he only has two more years left on his deal. Also we all know how healthy Trot can be. You could also have Youkillis going back to third and Pena play 1st.

sad to see bronson go, but a good move for 2007 forward. the sox should be shakier this season than last, but after that they'll be solid for a few years to come and wily mo has a good chance of being one of the cornerstones of that team.
