the All-Star game! In fact, he recieved the most votes of anyone. Sosa is not. The world is now in better shape.

IMO he's overrated (see the 2001 MVP award). Overrated doesn't imply that he's bad, it implies that he very good but often wrongfully thought to be among the greatest. My starting AL OF is: Wells, Manny, Anderson

Ichiro is a top 5 OF. Just b/c he doesn't hit 40 HR's a year doesn't mean he's not awesome. He does EVERYTHING else and has one of the best arms in the game.

i am elated to see pujols will start for the NL. it would have been a crime if he wouldnt have been included in the starting lineup.
Ichiro deserves to be there, rolen doesnt, and boone and soriano is like splitting hairs. just my opinion.
Down with dope and up with hope.

Did I say that he had to hit 40 HR's a year to be "awesome"? No. Did I say he's not "awesome"? No. I said that I think he isn't as good as
many people think he is and that
I don't see him as a deserving starter. Ichiro certainly deserves to be an All-Star but as a reserve IMO.
If you want to know the definition of "overrated" you should check ESPN Page 2; they have several articles about overrated athletes and what makes them overrated; they even write a whole article defining the word overrated. Maybe after reading them you'll realize that overrated does not mean "not awesome".

Holy crap man, take a chill pill. You act like I called your mom some dirty words or something. It's totally your opinion, as is mine. But, I don't think Ichiro's stats lie....

I get frustated sometimes

. Seriously though, check out ESPN Page 2's section on overrated players; its interesting and will help you understand point about Ichiro being overrated.
