Polanco is a guy I've very interested to see how he turns out this year. I'm not sure where he's going to bat in the Philly order and I'm not sure where to rank him among other 2nd basemen, or even if thats the position he's going to be playing all year. If anybody has some stat. predictions for him or just some information I'd like to hear it, this guy is a big mystery to me. Thanks.
Second base is a hard position to determine. I mean you have Soriano and Alomar and Kent but after that who do you really have, so you have to look at the next tier if you can, castillio being one of them, his hitting and sb are pushing him closer to second base stud status, but if your like me, If I can get the big 3 or 4, I try my best to deal with what is out there, with that said lets look at 3 guys who can be sleepers, Polanco, Walker and Boone.
I don't have ideas of projections right now but I do know that Polanco is probably going to hit 2nd behind Rollins and in front of Abreu. Not bad company I think Polanco is going to do good stuff this year, with a decent # of Runs and RBI's.
Now also look at boone your going to have to draft at 3rd I think but it looks like his father wants to play him at 2nd, if he can get his avg up a little bit he might get into the top 4 or 5 for this position.
My sleep pick of the year for this position is Todd Walker, I've seen some games when in Cinncy and the man can hit, put him in fenway and that short porch I see like 25 hrs for him.
i'm ranking him just below my scrubs. Unless you are desperate for a backup then stay away. The only thing he'll be good for is runs and MAYBE average.

Polanco is scheduled to play 2nd base for the Phillies.
In all rankings I saw up to now he was listed between 20 and 25 for 3rd Base where he played last year.
So stay away!
This may be a touch off topic, but with yeyo predicting Palanco to bat 2nd in the order, I am wondering what kind of adverse effects this has on a players stats??
More to the point, Juan Pierre and Randy Winn this year. These are guys that have been lead off hitters in years past, but will move to the 2 hole this year. Instead of trying to get on base by any means possible, steal a base or two and score a run, are these guy going to be asked to sacrifice more and just simply move guys over?
