I have to drop either Hinske or Mondesi. Remember, they both hit in about the same spot in their lineup (7th or 8th) and both their lineups when healthy are potent. Any suggestions?
I'd take Hinske over Aramis, he is the reigning AL ROY.
Whether Hinskes right or wrong, the fact he was roy has no bearing on anything. Its a subjective vote. And winning it means little. Ask Pat Listach or Jerome Walton.

Why not grab Hinske as insurance? If you have a roster spot you can play him at Utility or start him when your every day 3B is off. If he continues to play well, then you are in a position to trade one of your players of a position you need to strengthen.

Hard one to select from. I would lean towards Floyd since he plays on the Mets and they are not putting many people on base for him to hit in. Biggio can play OF or 2B, playing in Houston is a plus and he has people hitting around him, therefore, he should get better pitches to hit. Not to mention he should have more runs scored.
