Who should I be targeting?

I have my minor league draft coming up, and I am conflicted as to who I should be considering taking. Before I continue, this is my roster. I am in a 10 team, H2H, standard scoring league.

C-Lieberthal, Buck
1B-Delgado, Kotchman
2B-Kent, Barfield
3B-Rolen, Nomar (due to position eligibility, not enough G at SS)
SS-Greene, Adams
DH-Alou, Crede(for the time being, I may change this)
OF-Matsui, Mench, Dellucci, Granderson, Rios, Kearns
P-Carp, Felix, Prior, Patterson, Cain, Livan, Benson, Westbrook, Chris Young, Jerome Williams/Maholm
Minors-Hamels, Quentin

This list is the top minor leaguers that are available-any obvious omissions are already on rosters. In no certain order-

Justin Upton, Wood, Drew, Billingsley, Kendrick, Gordon, Salty, Andy LaRoche, Markakis, Lester, Chris Young, Tulowitzki, Billy Butler, Maybin, Carlos Gonzales, Jeff Clement, Zumaya, Pelfrey, Homer Bailey, and Johjima is also available. There are obviously more available, just don't really feel like entering all of them.

I am all but positive that the first 3 picks will be Upton, Wood, and Drew, with Kendrick probably going 4th. I have picks 5, 10, and 20. Obviously I need to be targetting a catcher, but I'm not sure if taking Salty at 5 would be a bad move? I'd really like to get him, but should I roll the dice and take someone like Gordon at 5, and hope that Salty falls to 10? I keep going back and forth in my mind, and it would be nice to have an outsiders opinion. Any help is greatly appreciated!

You do need a Catcher i would look at yes Salty and Johjima would in no way be a bad pick. I would also think of gettin Gordon but, i think Catcher schould be your main issue.

Take the best available prospect you can get in my opinion.

take the best available no matter what...you never know, perhaps Salty moves to first (hasn't been ruled out) or Johima is more Kaz than Hideki. But if Jeff Clement is on the board at #20, I say strike.

You never know what could happen in the minors draft. In my dynasty redraft, with many of the same players you have listed available, I got Wood at #6.

I know for a fact that Upton and Drew will be gone, after that nothing is for certain. E. Encarnacion is a FA, so maybe someone will take a shot at him early. If Gordon, Wood, or Kendrick fall to me at 5, I have no problem taking any one of them. Clement wouldn't be a bad choice if he is there later on. I wouldn't mind Johjima at some point...I'd be surprised if he put up lower numbers than Lieb. Any way you look at it, I'll end up with some damn good players!

Good Luck, If hes there take Ian Stewart. If not take Justin Upton/Alex Gordon. Not sure if he's there or not anyways good luck.

I have spent the entire summer putting together a strong farm system. Mind you my pro roster needs alot of work but, I am working on it...

I agree. Also, don't take a catcher with a minor league pick unless he is the second coming of Piazza.

I would say Billingsley is a safe pick, as is Gordon.

I wanted Gordon, but he went right before me....had to settle for Kendrick...
