I'm in a 12 team league. I have made one trade since my draft last week. It is a head to head league with all the basic categories, plus holds.

Bench - Mike Lowell
Bench - Clint Barmes

SP - Dontrelle Willis
SP - Tim Hudson
RP - BJ Ryan
RP - Tom Gordon
P - Brett Myers
P - Scott Linebrink
P - Daniel Cabrera
Bench - Erik Bedard
Bench - Aaron Heilman

Any suggestions would really be appreciated. If you help me by rating my team and telling me where I should improve, I will do the same for you.

Nice balanced offense. If Morneau gets his act together this year, then you'll have a very good offense. Not so sure about your pitching. Willis will not be the same this year, I think that's a given what with the Florida firesale and his abysmal performance in the WBC. I'm not loving Hudson either. I liked him in the #2 slot better, but he's still a good pitcher. You really need an ace though.

If want a Peavy/Oswalt/Carpenter/et al. you'll need to give equal talent in return, and that's why I didn't make a suggestion. B/c you'd have to trade Crawford or Konerko. I don't think a package of marginal talent will cut it either (like Dye and Bedard). So, I see two options:

1) See if someone is high on Willis and take advantage of him/her.
2) Trade Konerko. 1B is very deep, much deeper than any other position, so you should be able to find someone to get you 20hr/80rbi/.280. If nothing else, you have Morneau.
3) Trade Jeter.

#1 probably won't happen. So . . .

If you do #2, your power is pretty much screwed though. You'll have to focus on runs, sb, AVG and win those categories for your offense to hold up in h2h.

If you do #3, you lose a good buffer for your AVG and 100+ runs, and probably 15hr/85rbi/15sb. But at least Barmes is decent. The drop-off b/w Jeter and Barmes isn't as great as the drop-off b/w Konerko and John Doe.

Yeah, Willis is a concern. A top flight starter would be nice, but maybe you can win with ERA, WHIP and holds.

smoltz and mora for blalock and edmonds

OR

halladay, another hitter, and mora for blalock, edmonds, and damon

should i do it? if so, which one?

I wouldnt do the deal with Smoltz, i dont trust his health. I like the one with halladay, depending on the other hitter. Mora for Blalock is about even.

im trying to pursue the halladay deal but i dont know what other hitter he should add. i dont really like his hitters. He said he wants Heilman in the deal so it would be Halladay Mora and another hitter for Heilman Damon Edmonds Blalock

He has for hitters:
C - Javy Lopez
1B - Jim Thome
2B - Polanco
SS - Reyes
3B - Mora
OF - Manny, Griffey, Bradley
Utl - Lofton, Dellucci
Bench - Alou, Sanders, Hall, Orlando Cabrera, Pierzynski

All his Utl/Bench players are average - nothing special
