Williams and Prior today---Who to start?

Postby BcM » Sun Jul 06, 2003 11:01 am

I'm thinking of benching Williams and starting Prior only.
Do you guys think I'm making a good play or should I pitch both of them?
I don't have to worry about innings pitched. Williams has been getting killed the last few starts and I think it may be best to bench him.

It's a tough call, But I'm gonna do the samething. Start Prior and bench Williams and hope Alou and Sosa keep hitting. (and that Lenny Harris stays on the bench :-t )...

I've said for the last couple of years that Woody Williams is great. I almost always get to steal him late in the draft. But with the winds blowing out at Wrigley the last couple of days, and Woody struggling a little, I ended up benching him. Pretty good start and I could have used the numbers, plus the win. :-/ I guess it balances out though, I benched him against the Yankees and Boston and he got rocked by both of them. B-)
