Howie Kendrick Vs. Rickie Weeks

Howie Kendrick or Rickie Weeks who's the better fantasy 2B? Not just for this year but, for the future as well... I'd imagine it's Weeks if I was just refering to this year so I really want to know bout the future with these two.

Weeks now and in the future for me. Kendrick could hit for a better average in the future, but Weeks has the advantage in every other category.

I agree with the above...Kendrick has a great shot to challenge for batting titles in the future and be a very quality fantasy 2B. Weeks should hit for average in the future but can give 5 categories and has the possibility (ceiling) of taking the #1 fantasy 2B in the next year or two.

I'm leaning slightly towards Kenrick. I think he will hit for higher average, and put up better power numbers. Weeks has the big edge in SB's

Kendrick and Weeks project to hit for a similar amount of power. Kendrick makes hard contact, but Weeks does too, as both have superb bat speed. I think Weeks has slightly more power potential, though, as Kendrick is more of a contact hitter. I expect Kendrick to hit for a higher average, but Weeks will steal many more bases. I would go with Weeks based on his more complete repertoire. And don't discount his bat, either. He won batting titles in college.

Weeks is the guy with 5 category tools potential in the Alfonso Soriano mold. I think he has more fantasy potential. Of course, I would not say anything against Kendrick either. I think he will be an awesome second baseman as well and he is among my favorite players in the minors.
