He spent most of last year batting 3rd. If Kendall drops down to the bottom, as he should, that could happen again, with Ellis and Kotsay in front. Anyone have the latest on this or strong opinions about what will happen.

I'd like to see
1. Ellis
2. Bradley
3. Chavez
4. Thomas
5. Crosby

I'd think he probably bats in the 3-hole with Chavy and the Big Hurt behind him and probably Kotsay and Ellis/Bradley in front.

What kind of numbers would you expect from him in the 3 hole.

that he get something like this...
.270/90/25/80/5
However it all depends on if he can stay healthy since he goes balls out and has been injury prone so far in his career

Do you like him over Barmes?

Barmes will probably hit for a better average and more SB's (we don't run much).
Depending on your situation I'd draft Crosby before Barmes but you should be able get Barmes later on as a sleeper (in my drafts at least).

I have Barmes, traded for Crosby. I'm thinking of playing Barms at home and Crosby on the road. Maybe that way I get a SS with 20+ HR, 90 R, 285 Avg. Thoughts on a platoon. Do people do this?
