I don't know what all the bitching is about, he's still one of the top 3 first baseman in baseball. He's had a good couple of months in a row, and I think he only gets better as he sees the NL pitchers a few more times.

I think you've read the conversation, so it's a bit disingenuous to wonder what's it about. To sum up, it's kind of silly to throw out blanket statements like "Thome has always been a second-half hitter" when we now have multiple online references that can be checked.

With that, I agree with your points, and will now withdraw from this thread to my corner to weep over the 2/29 "performance" turned in by my team today.
